It has been announced by the Ministry of Culture that to mark The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, an official medal will be awarded to those in the Armed Forces and Emergency Services, and to prison service personnel. It is understood that the medals will be awarded during the first half of 2012.
Toye, Kenning and Spencer have a long tradition in supplying medal ribbon for such occasions and will be releasing the ribbon once the tender has been issued by the Ministry of Defence which is likely to be in the last quarter of the year. Also, as a licensed supplier of miniature medals to the MOD we are currently getting authorisation for the sale of the miniature medal which will be manufactured in our Birmingham factory.
