In 1956 Mr Bryan Toye joined full time the family business of Toye, Kenning & Spencer Limited, spending the next ten years, learning the trade in London, the Midlands and overseas. In 1962 he was appointed Director of Toye, Kenning & Spencer Limited.
In 1969 he was appointed Chairman Toye & Company p.l.c., Toye, Kenning & Spencer Limited, John Taylor Poston & Co Limited and other subsidiary companies. He has also served as an independent Director on 3 other companies outside the Group. Bryan Toye is the grantee and through him Toye Kenning and Spencer holds a Royal Warrant of Appointment to HM The Queen as Suppliers of Gold and Silver Laces, Insignia and Embroidery.
He is a Former Alderman of the City of London for Lime Street Ward, Former Hon. Colonel RAOC and RLC London District, currently Hon. Ordnance Officer The Tower of London, Past President and formerly Hon. Auditor The Royal Warrant Holders Association and Non Executive Director Naval Manning Agency.
He is and has been involved with many other associations and organisations and Livery Companies of the City of London.
Justice of The Peace and qualified Bench Chairman.

Fiona A Toye - Age 50 - Chief Executive Officer
Fiona has over 20 years experience within the company, having worked in all divisions. Fiona has a proven track record for identifying new products and opportunities. Fiona was appointed an alternate director in September 2006 prior to her position of full director being confirmed in April 2007. Fiona was appointed to the board of Toye, Kenning & Spencer Limited on the 13th April 2007.
Fiona has overall responsibility for the company’s marketing and design functions.
Lord Rowe-Beddoe - Age 72 - Deputy Chairman and serves on the Audit and Remuneration Committees
Lord Rowe-Beddoe joined the Board of Toye & Company p.l.c. on 29 October 2002.
Lord Rowe-Beddoe is Deputy Chairman and also serves on the Audit and Remuneration Committees. A graduate of Cambridge University (Economics and Law) and an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He is Chairman of the Wales Millennium Centre, EHC International Ltd, and the Representative Body of the Church in Wales. He is Deputy Chairman of the UK Statistics Authority.
He serves on the boards of other companies and institutions, and is President of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and Pro Chancellor of the University of Glamorgan. He is former Chairman of the Welsh Development Agency (1993-2001) and in his earlier life was CEO of The De La Rue Company, and President of Revlon Inc and Morgan Stanley-GFTA Ltd. He is also a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Broderers.
His significant business experience brings expertise in sales, marketing and general management to our Board.
Neil Haynes - Age 51 - Finance Director and Company Secretary
Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young where he gained experience in both the audit and corporate recovery departments. Neil has a degree in pure mathematics and joined the Company in 1991, being appointed Company Secretary in July the following year. He was appointed to the board of Toye, Kenning & Spencer Limited on the 13th April 2007.
Neil has overall responsibility for finance, IT and company secretarial matters.
Mr N K S Wills - Age 69 - Non Executive Director - Serves on the Audit and Remuneration

Mr N K S Wills joined the board of Toye & Company p.l.c. on 3rd June 1996. Nick is an independent Non-Executive Director who also serves on the Audit and Remuneration Committees. Nick, a qualified Chartered Accountant, is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of National Mutual Life Assurance Society and a director of other companies. He is also a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers.
Mr D Hartley - Age 72 - Non Executive Director - Serves on the Audit and Remuneration Committees (Chairman of the Audit Committee)
Mr D Hartley joined the Board of Toye & Company p.l.c. on 26th April 1994 and was appointed Chairman of the Audit and Remuneration Committees during the same year. David, a qualified Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, is a Past Chairman and Director of Knightstone Housing Association Limited and is a Director of other companies. He was a member of Taunton Borough Council 1966-1987 and Mayor of Taunton 1973-1974. Holds senior office in a number of Fraternal Societies.
